A PowerPoint presentation summarising the 'Factors affecting growth and development' module of the WJEC Health and Social Care specification. I print slides 14, 24 and 28 and get he pupils to mind map the information on the previous slides

PowerPoint presentation with types of family. Idea behind this lesson was for pupils to work in groups, using the statements provided (Word Document), identify advantages and disadvantages of each type of family. statements can be used more than once. I finished the lesson of with looking at the function of a family through Maslow's Pyramid (on PowerPoint), pupils again worked in groups and wrote their ideas around a blank pyramid.
